    *POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Jr. Electrical Quality Control is responsible for ensuring the quality of product departing the REV manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and documenting electrical tests completed for REV products.

    They will ensure that all results of tests and inspections meet REV's internal quality requirements as well as all industry and customer standards.

    *POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Perform testing on electrical products using various test equipment (Products include but limited to switchgear, circuit breakers LV/MV, Relays, Transformers, panel boards, cables, battery systems)
    • Use of hand tools (screwdrivers, sockets, side cutters, wiring tools, Multimeter, etc.) on a day-to-day basis
    • Generate test reports
    • Perform quality inspections based on REV, industry, and customer requirements on all products on the production floor
    • Assist in the development and completion of Internal Test Plan (ITP) for completed products
    • Document the results of inspections on REV checklists and forms as required, as well as customer documents
    • Communicating project punch list items with Project Manager(s)
    • Verification of Electrical Designs with the as-built product
    • Providing electrical troubleshooting of equipment in manufacturing shop
    • Interface directly with project managers, clients, electrical utilities and regulatory agencies (Electrical Safety Authority, municipalities, etc.)
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager to ensure REV's goals and objectives are met.
    • Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in REV's Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual
    • Performs duties according to REV's quality system procedures and work instructions
    *POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in electrical engineering, technologist or equivalent
    • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
    • Electrical/Electrician experience is desired
    • AutoCAD (drafting) experience would be an asset
    • Basic knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
    • In-depth knowledge of construction methods and installation details related to electrical equipment and with codes and standards: CSA, IEEEE would be an asset
    • Ability to sort through complex issues, evaluate information, and make tough appropriate decisions
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to clearly provide information and ensure accurate conveyance of the message
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadline priorities
    • Ability to deliver and act in a consistent and trustworthy manner
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
    • Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
    • Excellent safety record/safety conscious with an interest in continued learning of safety precautions and procedures
