REMCAN is currently looking for a
Fleet Maintenance Coordinator for its Spruce Grove location.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage equipment hours and kilometres with applicable REMCAN systems escalating exceptions when required
  • Manage and execute equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules through REMCAN's database
  • Ensure the following are completed on time and on budget with supporting documentation is filed correctly:
  • Servicing
  • Commercial vehicle inspections
  • Hi rail inspections
  • Coordinate trucks in the field to complete required maintenance:
  • Correspond with REMCAN shops or other suppliers for appointments
  • Monitor charges from suppliers for regular maintenance
  • Manage any additional costs for repairs required
  • Coordinate parts and supplies for equipment in the field to complete required maintenance
  • Approve low value invoices for regular preventative maintenance
  • Create work orders for maintenance and repairs
  • Manage work orders to ensure all costs are included
  • Provide technical support to the field
  • Share on call duties rotational schedule to be implemented upon hire
  • Assist in creating service bulletins

Secondary:


  • Assist the Mechanical Superintendent in monitoring major repairs and equipment issues in the field
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance on the designated territory
  • Assist the Mechanical Superintendent in planning and executing our winter Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) program
  • Provide technical assistance to our purchasing department

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Experience in managing a corporate / commercial vehicle and / or equipment fleet
  • Ability to complete detailed work under strict time pressures
  • Must have Mechanical background in order to understand servicing requirements
