If you are looking to use your knowledge and leadership skills to take the Accounts Receivable Department to the next level, the Lake Country Co-op is looking for you You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the entire department.


What you'll do:


  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Cooperative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable functions which includes supervising and direction of multiple Team Members
  • Monitor and manager accounts receivable collection activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues
  • Provide accurate reporting analysis of Accounts Receivable
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement
  • Other duties as assigned

Who you'll work with:

Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in service and customer satisfaction.

You will assist in leading this team to cultivate a culture of collaboration.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • You have an Accounting Certificate or combination of relevant experience and schooling
  • You are able to work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work and the work of others
  • You have proven leadership and supervisory experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in the work that you do
  • You have systems and technical expertise; experience with JD Edwards software would be considered an asset
  • You have strong computer and technical background, including effective working knowledge of MS word with a strong emphasise on excel
  • You have strong analytical and problemsolving skills, are an effective planner, and have superb time management skills
