Description

Responsibilities:

Ensuring optimal quality on the job site
In collaboration with the project management team, will develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule to ensure construction project milestones and completion dates are met
Manage 51 North Interior's crew to ensure work is planned and performed efficiently while providing excellent service and a high quality finished product
Build and maintain working relationships
Conduct and complete regular site and quality control inspections
Monitor and maintain a safe and secure work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures relating to health and safety
Demonstrate leadership and ensure that projects are built according to approved construction plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes, and that highquality standards are maintained
Maintain a thorough daily report that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections and other relevant information
Be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact the project performance

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Construction Site Supervisor
Extensive knowledge of framing and drywall scopes
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Site management skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and manage construction workers effectively
Have a thorough, current knowledge of safety practices, Alberta building codes and building practices
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively as well as highly developed problem solving & decisionmaking skills
Ability to work with mínimal supervision
Ability to work well with others in a leadership role in a team environment
WHIMIS, Fall Arrest and First Aid Certificates _is an asset but not required_
Must have proper PPE
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Proficient in using hand and power tools required for the job
Own tools to perform all aspects of work is required
Must be punctual and have own means of transportation
