PREP & KITCHEN HELPERS:

The
PREP COOK is responsible for safely preparing ingredients required for food service from a sanitary environment.

A
PREP COOK is an essential part of the kitchen staffs as they help maximize the workflow in the kitchen.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Washing, chopping, vegetables, preparing enough for daily use
• Ensure food is properly stored, labelled and safely handled for consumption
• Cutting, prepping and marinating meats, and protein as per recipe
• Preparing housemade sauces and desserts as per recipe
• Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly
• Ensuring all ingredients are in stock for the Chef to complete their menu

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
