    Description:

    Under the supervision of the installations supervisor, the role of the installation technician is to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the buildings on the site and to ensure the maintenance of the systems in place. He may be responsible for coordinating the work of contractors and ensuring compliance with current standards. There is no direct supervisory responsibility for this position.

    Main functions:

    Maintenance of buildings and certain equipment:

    Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of factory premises and office tower (lighting, storm/sanitary drains, toilets, standard doors, roofs, emergency lights)
    Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on certain equipment in the factory and office tower (dust collectors, vacuum, basin and sump, alarm system, vault, emergency shower and eyewash, purified water system )
    Performs preventive maintenance of the fire system (sprinklers, diesel and electric pump, fire extinguishers, firefighter connections, hoses, total heat pump, fire curtains, PIV, uses SIEMENS panels for masking different areas)
    Coordinates and monitors the work of external contractors related to preventive/corrective measures (elevators, backflow prevention devices, fire, pest control, gas detectors, several types of doors, compactor, hoods)
    Performs carpentry work and uses different tools (table saw, miter saw, band saw, jointer, sander and others)
    Ensures compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices and HSE (Health Security Environment)) quality processes during preventive/corrective maintenance and various works.
    Uses the SAP system for consultation, planning, confirmation of work orders
    Ensures compliance with due dates and execution of work orders under his responsibility
    Monitoring of the various training courses or SOPs (standardized operating procedure) which are linked to the installation technician position
    Responds to requests from "customers or employees" for all aspects of issues identified via the plant's HELP line (4357)
    Ensures the manufacturing of keys according to requests from the different departments and people in the factory
    Carry out all work requests according to the order of priorities in compliance with the standards and policies in force
    Is on call 24 hours for any emergency on site on rotation with team members (one week out of three)
    Request quotes from suppliers for work under your responsibility
    Provide occasional support to other teams and for all other related tasks

    Internal partners: Production, HSE department, Quality department, Purchasing department, Engineering department and all employees on an individual basis.

    External partners: Service providers

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

    a) Training required

    Vocational or Secondary V Diploma with relevant experience

    b) Languages

    Functional French and English

    c) Special experience and knowledge

    5 to 10 years of building maintenance experience

    d) Specific technical skills and knowledge

    Carpentry
