    About the Role

    Marcon is seeking a Construction Customer Care Technician that can trouble shoot warranty items and service issues, including drainage, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other quality control items as needed. Candidates need to be able to successfully trouble shoot, find solutions and lead a team to close out an item.

    • Schedule and attend service appointments for files that have been assigned by the Customer Care Manager;
    • Maintain, update and close service files in a timely manner through Marcon's online Customer Care Program;
    • Perform related service work as required;
    • Correspond and follow up with trades on service files as required;
    • Complete and sign a Marcon Purchase Order for any trade work orders or purchases (upon pre-approval by Customer Care Manager);
    • Maintain a daily log of time spent on activities for accurate data collection;
    • Complete detailed inspection reports for any common area issues that are identified:
    • Ensure proper care and maintenance of Marcon equipment and tools;
    • Regular communication with Customer Care Manager to ensure service files are promptly responded to.

    About You

    • Considerable knowledge of residential and concrete construction required;
    • Considerable knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, and tools for carpentry, millwork, drywall and painting trades preferred;
    • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade;
    • Computer, internet and knowledge of basic software applications required;
    • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills;
    • Professional and courteous rapport with customers and trades;
    • Flexibility and positive attitude;
    • Detail oriented;
    • May be required to work O/T or weekends from time to time.
