JOB DESCRIPTION
On-Site position
The
Warehouse Specialist **is responsible for all the logistics, inventory management, staging equipment and maintaining relationships with vendors to serve all our Ontario-based clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff, vendors and customers to solve problems positively and professionally.
- Managing vendor relationships and escalations.
- Responsible for inventory management through software tracking software and office 36
- Ability to work remotely and onsite when required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on importance.
- Able to follow policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks on time.
- Standards on best practices maintenance and development.
- Ability to meet Service Level Agreements for both internal and external customers.
- Shipping and receiving goods to and from warehouses and shipping or delivering when required to technicians at the clients' premises.
- Manage relationships with our logistics, driving continuous improvements.
- Ensuring Returned Material Authorizations (RMA's) are received from customers within the agreedupon timeframe.
- Ensuring equipment stock replenishment is placed into the proper geographies within our field stocking locations (FSL's).
- Ensure the team understands all aspects of forward and reverse logistics and internal clients are kept uptodate with logístical changes.
- Validate that monthly billing from our logistics partners is accurate before going to accounts payable.
- Improvements to existing processes and procedures to improve daily bottlenecks and problems.
- Accuracy of work and expense reports is critical because this role can affect major purchasing decisions.
- Enforce warehouse monthly safety inspections of health and safety, and codes and conducts are followed.
- Ability to manage and use shipping portals and escalate issues with vendors when required.
- Device management of company employees through Microsoft 365 tools and vendor platforms
- Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Managing customer needs and expectations and building a solid relationship with customers.
- Other tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience/License:
- High School Diploma.
- Good to have an accounting and/or managing information systems certificate/Diploma or (Good working knowledge or experience using and implementing technology.
- Strong skills in reading and generating reports aimed at providing key information efficiently that will be used to drive business decisions.
- Good understanding of ticketing systems
- Valid driver's license
