Your potential role with the Team


Alteri Insurance is seeking a Level 2 Insurance Advisory professional to join our dynamic team in based out our Yaletown location.

As a Personal Lines Insurance advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and comprehensive insurance solutions to our valued clients, ensuring their peace of mind and financial protection.


Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing exceptional customer service. You will be working with our high performing team supporting our top end brokers.


Insurance Consultation:

Conduct thorough assessments of client's insurance requirements, analyze their existing coverage, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to address their unique needs.


Policy Management:
Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and policy adjustments promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines.


Claims Assistance:

Assist clients in the claims process, acting as a reliable point of contact and guiding them through the necessary steps to ensure a seamless claims experience.


Product Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively educate and advise clients on available coverage options.


Sales and Cross-Selling:

Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products that align with the clients' needs, increasing customer satisfaction and company revenue.


Documentation and Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring all interactions and transactions are properly documented in compliance with company policies and procedures.


Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with a team of insurance professionals, sharing knowledge, providing support, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.


MUST HAVES:


Insurance Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines insurance.


Insurance Certifications:

Possess relevant insurance licenses or certifications, such as a General Insurance License Level 2 (or higher), demonstrating a strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and best practices.


Customer-Focused Mindset:

Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others and providing personalized insurance solutions tailored to our clients.


Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner, appealing to a millennial audience


Organizational Skills:
Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Technological Proficiency:

Comfortable using insurance management software such as EPIC and other digital tools to efficiently process insurance transactions and communicate with clients.


Team Player:

A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a team to achieve shared goals while fostering a positive and supportive work culture.


Salary:
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
