Role descriptionRole responsibilities
- Accessibility and branding are the focus of this project.
- You will be reviewing eLearning products for functionality and conformance with Client and industry standards.
- You will be converting existing assets into new, branded, and accessible templates.
- You will be making direct edits in Rise, Storyline, PowerPoint, and Word.
- You will write alt text, verify screen reading and tabbing order, and ensure asset colors meet accessibility guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Education, English, Journalism, Communications, or related postsecondary education or equivalent job experience
- A minimum of three years' experience in QA testing in one or more of the following areas: ILT, technical editor, content editor technical writing, proofreading, eLearning, or training
- Excellent editing skills and standard computing skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Experience testing accessibility using Rise, Storyline, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
- Proficiency and experience making edits directly within Rise and PowerPoint required
- Knowledge and experience editing within Storyline is a must
- Experience with accessibility (writing alt text, using accessible language, verifying screen reading and tabbing order, keyboard navigation) is highly recommended
- Flexibility, selfmotivation, capacity to focus on routine tasks, and ability to work to deadlines
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to give and receive feedback at all levels
- Strong Team, interpersonal, and communication skills and the ability to navigate and work through challenges with a positive attitude
- Ability to work successfully with a global, virtual Team spread across multiple time zones
