The Ryerson difference:


The Opportunity:

Shift: 7am - 3pm


Responsibilities:


  • Organize and rebuild pallets.
  • Packaging orders per customer requirements
  • General cleaning and warehouse maintenance
  • Auditing rack arms to ensure materials organized per company standards.
  • Performs all work with adherence to health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old per Ryerson Health and Safety Policy
  • 12 years prior experience in a warehouse environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Safety conscious with general knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to the position, in compliance with the provincial regulations and the company's policies
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fastpaced environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 4 months


Pay:
$18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON L6Y 5P4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
