Under the direction of the Sr Bakery Manager, the Onboarding Training Lead role is the hands-on leader of Onboarding experiences with associates across the bakery.
This role is critical to the successful skill development needs of our people, in areas including People & Food Safety and Job Skills such as operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and working together as a team of people committed to bakery success.
A day in the life of the Onboarding Training Lead includes a variety of activities including - coordinating training schedules, updating training trackers and technology tools, and of course - training people In the bakery, training is an active part of how people learn new skills, grow their capabilities, and become ready to move into other jobs in their careers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a highquality & effective associate Onboarding training experience
- Partner with people managers to coordinate training schedules
- Ensure all Onboarding/training materials and tools are up to date, and ready for use
- Track associate skills development, training attendance, and program outcomes
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook
- Use all prescribed personal protective equipment
- Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
- Perform all other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma; or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years experience in training associates in safety and/or job skills
- Proven experience in coordinating the training experiences for more than 100 employees
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is desired
