Position Overview


Under the guidance of the Walmart Customer Business Development Senior Manager and in collaboration with the Customer Business Development Director, the Analyst will be responsible for providing on going and ad hoc analytical support to the CBD team to deliver business goals and support account needs.

Works collaboratively with the team to identify and maximize the business opportunities in-store and online.

Primary focus will be toward optimizing investment of programs though efficiency and efficacy analysis and providing in-depth POS performance insights for our business.

This role is also responsible for delivering key competitive and category insights through retail data analytics. Analyst must be able to distill data into digestible, easy to understand formats for internal and external presentations.


Major Duties

  • Create and manage reporting related to all sales and inventory metrics for optimal decisionmaking purposes weekly, monthly and annually.
  • Proactive analysis and extraction of key information.
  • Interpretation of data to identify sales trends and their implications.
  • Track and analyze NPD vs. deleted SKU performance.
  • Track and analyze store distribution and POG changes.
  • Manage instock and other key Revlon and customer KPI's.
  • Review item and store level traiting issues and work towards resolutions.
  • Assume responsibility for replenishment forecast updates for all customer listings.
  • Track and maintain customer instock levels and targeted weeks of supply to ensure alignment with internal and external departments through the use of inventory efficiency strategies such as DD's, PBl's, and other decision support tools such as GRS reporting.
  • Analyze inventory performance.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning and replenishment teams to identify changes including distribution, Rollback / Multisave activity and SKU instock & out of stock opportunities that may impact forecasts.
  • Utilize Retail Link and Revlon Master Item Data to maintain customer data integrity.
  • Monitor weekly orders, inventory reporting, and help to resolve any issues hindering order processing in collaboration with the Customer Logistics team, Director, and Senior Manager.
  • Identify opportunities and risks to plan and report out in Demand Meetings.
  • Actualize sales results for Rollback and Multibuy events.
  • Seek opportunities to develop process improvements to positively impact service levels and reduce fines.
  • Assist in adhoc problem solving by identifying root causes and engaging key stakeholders (both internal and external) to create winwin solutions.
  • Provide support and analysis for Business Plans.
  • Prepare scripting as needed.
  • Ad hoc requests as needed.

Education & Experience

  • 35 years related business experience within the CPG industry; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Background in cosmetics or other sku intensive category preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Retail Link, MicroStrategy and SAP systems are an asset.
