Looking for a skilled carpenter or a Carpentry Apprentice to join a young and vibrant firm based in Richmond, BC. The company is in its second year of operations and is on the path to expansion.



Enhance your carpentry abilities by gaining practical experience under the mentorship of a seasoned carpenter with more than 25 years of proficiency.



Role Requirements:
  • Must possess a personal vehicle.
  • Own hand tools and steel-toe work boots are necessary.

Job Location:
  • Tasks will be carried out at various construction sites across the Metro Vancouver region.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school.
  • 12 years of prior carpentry experience.
  • Fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret construction blueprints and arrangements; create layouts.
  • Measure, cut, shape, join, and assemble wood materials and lumber.
  • Build diverse structures such as foundations, walls, roofs, and floors; set up floor beams, among other tasks.
  • Skillfully operate measuring tools, hand tools, and power carpentry tools.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware as required.
  • Renovate and fix wooden structures.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently.

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend work may be necessary

Education:
  • Completion of high school (preferred).

Experience:
- Carpentry experience: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (mandatory)

Work Location: On-site
