PRIMARY FUNCTION


The six health-partners in the South East region recognize that to achieve person centered, effective care coordination across the system, enhance the ability to make best use of collective resources, achieve more system-like behavior, and have the agility to address future funding changes, a major, system-wide clinical transformation is needed.

This clinical transformation will meet clinical information needs of both the health-partners and the region. Lumeo, a regional Health Information System will support the "
_one standard of care and journey for the people we serve"_ vision identified by the partners' clinical leadership.

This program opportunity will enable the sharing of information seamlessly across the six health-partners, connecting the personal health information into a single cohesive story and reducing the variability of care provided.


The Regional Training Manager is accountable for developing the regional training strategy to ensure consistency in training delivery across the region.

They are responsible for the successful delivery of training and learning programs that aim to increase end users' adoption and ongoing proficiency of the Regional Health Information System across the South East Hospital Cluster.

This includes overall coordination and management of regional training activities, logistics and trainers, setting and sustaining the training environment and ensuring all local trainers are trained and able to deliver training successfully at their local organizations.


Reporting to the Lumeo Operations Director, the Training Manager will oversee a training team responsible for developing training content, setting, and sustaining the training domain and delivering effective trainings.

Working closely with other Lumeo workstream managers, the Training Manager will ensure that all training needs are understood and reflected to enable all system users to be successful in their roles.

Within this role the employee is accountable for contributing to the delivery of Regional Health Information System (RHIS) strategy. As an employee, one must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for actively promoting and supporting patient and family centered engagement and care in all we do


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE:


Project Management- Oversee day-to-day management of the regional training team Identify, manage and mitigate/resolve training related risks and issues Collaborate with RHIS team to continuously refresh and update training content so that end users learn the most up-to-date workflows and functionality Monitor project progress and take corrective action to ensure that training delivery strategies and services continue to operate efficiently and effectively Review monthly metrics and reports to draw insights on level of training and adoption achieved and determine course correct accordingly Proactively communicate the training progress to regional executives and clinical leaders
Operations- Oversee the maintenance of learning management systems (course catalogue ad schedules), training environments and coordination of logistics (e.g., training room, projectors, printers) required to support trainings Implement, update, and oversee operational policies and processes for training and communication with evolving end-user needs Create, and execute the training environment strategy which includes coordinating the training environments, refreshing schedules, and developing playground and practice environments to support regional activities Identify, assess, prioritize, and address training needs in alignment with the training plan goals and targets Deploy a wide variety of training methods, reimagining creative and innovative tools, techniques, and approaches to achieve excellent comprehension, proficiency, and performance results for end users
Team Development- Recruit and develop appropriate training staff Create an environment for personal development so that each member of the training team can maximize their potential Lead, guide, and coach training team on educational and career opportunities Set and monitor annual performance objectives for team members Develop and maintain training teams technical and training skills, arranges technical and leadership training
Relationships Building- Serve as liaison between system end-users to build trust and seek active feedback on the training and learning programs Manage regional and local stakeholders, RHIS project teams through regular consultation to ensure the designed training programs suppo
