Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a Junior Analyst to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, to provide Systems Engineering and Project Engineering support to our customers (Nuclear Power Utilities) on machine and/or process development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Systems engineering services for development projects, including requirements definition, design review, verification & test planning, and preparation of technical documentation (i
e:
operations process flows, storyboards, interface plans)
- Mechanical / Electrical / Controls engineering services (incl. modelling and drafting) for development projects, including conceptual and detailed design phases
- Support to our customers' "Owners Engineers" (OEs) or "Responsible Systems Engineers" (RSEs) for development projects and/or sustaining projects
- Providing mission system operations expertise for project execution (i.e. for nuclear maintenance, inspection or refurbishment systems)
- Perform and support scientific and technical project work for Calian Nuclear clients
- Support the development of highquality technical reports and documents
- Ensure all project deliverables are developed and maintained in accordance with the Calian Nuclear Quality Management System (QMS)
- Participate, as part of a project team, in conducting technical analyses
Qualifications:
- A postsecondary degree in a Nuclear Engineering or another related discipline within Engineering
- 02 years of relevant experience within the Nuclear industry or related field
- Strong working knowledge of all MS Suite Programs (particularly Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Critically analyzes tasks and proposes methods and approaches
- Provides project coordination and logistics support on Nuclear initiatives
- Coordinates with various disciplines to support project requirements
- Off-Nominal/Anomaly system hardware investigations. Coordinating the troubleshooting process to determine appropriate solution
- Developing new products and processes to improve our offerings within our Nuclear line of business + more
Additional Requirements:

- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Canadian Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
