The Vice President of Sales is a key new leadership role at Tru Earth Environmental Products, Inc.

At a high level, the VP of Sales will be accountable for all Commercial sales worldwide, with particular focus on expansion in the US market and targeted international markets.

This role will also oversee the Strategic Partners Channel and other Sales functions.

As an initial critical deliverable, the VP of Sales will build a 3-year growth plan at the market and account level, and build and track key initiatives, holding the team accountable for achieving them.

On an ongoing basis, the VP of Sales will set, review, and drive key action plans.


What You Will Do

  • Build a 3year growth plan to accelerate commercial market penetration and revenue growth
  • Effectively build and manage the Channel strategies through the team and expand our customer base and execute plans to achieve sales targets
  • Build a bestinclass sales team, with primary focus on developing the US sales team and international partnerships
  • Implement and maintain the Tru Earth Sales Operating System including regular Sales meeting cadence and reporting
  • Partner with 3PL and manufacturing teams to ensure on time delivery and replenishment, instituting key KPIs to ensure customer metrics are met
  • Determine annual unit and grossprofit plans by leveraging channelspecific marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results
  • Establish sales objectives by reviewing forecasting and annual sales quotas for channels and markets; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; establish high levels of forecast accuracy and process consistency
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting providing key business insights for Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Targeted Accounts, Market Segmentation, Wins/Losses

What You Have

  • Currently at director level or higher
  • Must have: 810 years of direct US sales experience at large Grocery, Drug and/or Mass Retailers with a solid understanding of the US Retail landscape.
  • Strong industry knowledge and connections in the US, Canada and ideally internationally
  • Experience with P&L accountability and a demonstrated history of success in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with and influence management and crossfunctional teams
  • Strong computer skills, in Microsoft Office, HubSpot and other relevant software tools
  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent field experience; MBA considered an asset
  • Ability to travel on a flexible schedule on a regular basis
