- Manage and monitor database environments for performance, scalability, and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve database problems
- Implement and maintain security measures for databases
- Upgrade and migrate databases to newer versions
- Work with other IT staff to integrate databases with other applications and systems

- Experience installing, upgrading, and migrating database instances required
- Working knowledge of database replication required
- Experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL and SSMS or SQLdeveloper required
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
- Experience with public cloud relational databases and instances preferred
- Experience with DevOps practices preferred
