Animal Care Attendant to join our
Surgery Team.
Our team of board-certified Specialists and registered veterinary technicians provide care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ACA is a big part of our team, assisting the veterinary staff with various procedures, tasks, and treatments.
This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities, which directly attributes to the efficient and effective daily operation of the service.
Previous experience in a Veterinary Hospital is an asset.A few attributes and qualifications are:
- Caring for our patients and hands on work; feeding and walking, handling and restraint, helping with procedures, instrument handling, patient prep for surgery, and offering a gentle voice of assurance
- General housekeeping duties including but not limited to restocking, cleaning prep areas, maintaining sterility within the suites, proper instrument sterilization
- Willingness to learn more from an experienced Specialty team regarding veterinary services, updated medical procedures, specialized instruments and much more
