    Summary

    In
    collaboration with the Housekeeping Manager, and in the absence of the
    Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for running the
    daily operations in accordance with the hotel's activities. In general, this
    position is responsible for hiring, training, supervising staff, conducting
    inspections of rooms and of the hotel public areas, creating/modifying
    schedules, closing files, taking inventory, and ensuring that company standards
    are met. This person will work closely
    with administration, front desk and food service in planning needs.

    Supervise and manage the housekeeping team in the
    absence of the Housekeeping Manager

    Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility by
    conducting inspection rounds

    Ensure that quality and standards are met.

    Maintain an up-to-date inventory of cleaning products

    Participate and supervise tasks during major cleaning

    Open/transparent communication with associates and all
    other departments

    Facilitate daily meetings - engagement with associates

    Clear and positive communication

    Ensuring that occupational health and safety is a
    priority

    Work with third parties (such as dry cleaning and
    laundry companies and night cleaners)
