Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering full cycle recruiting success throughout the organization.

This will be achieved through the development of local, national and North American recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

This role will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent and onboarding new hires in line with our culture and values.

The Talent Acquisition Partner will source, recruit, and present talent to the business. This role will assist in creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies across the organization. A key part of the role will be to build partnerships with People Leaders to support talent management initiatives.

As part of a small, high-functioning HR team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand and plan for, current and future hiring needs.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement talent strategies (internal & external) to achieve the most appropriate sourcing, evaluation, and selection of the most qualified and diverse talent.
  • Lead the process of developing an employer brand in line with the EVP that is visible to the public.
  • Conduct regular followups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and processes.
  • Assess existing and new recruitment sources to be used to attract talent into the organization.
  • Post openings on the internet, newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate locations.
  • Manage the weekly reporting process in addition to creating key metrics to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the recruitment program and identify any gaps or areas of concern.
  • Lead, guide and coach People Leaders to ensure best practices and processes are followed.
  • Develop process maps and training guides on effective recruitment programs to be used internally by HR and Hiring Managers.
  • Update systems with new hire information.
  • Manage Summer Student/Internship Program, Employee Referral Program, Career Fairs and Hiring Events.
  • Build a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.
  • Network through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees

Requirements and Skills:


  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 3+ Years of Full Cycle Recruitment Experience
  • 3+ Years of Applicant Tracking Experience
  • Strong Customer Focus, Business Acumen and Understanding of Business Operations
  • Ability to Execute Strategies and Tactics, Build Relationships, Organize Processes, and Think Analytically
  • High Energy, Flexible, Detail Oriented and Adaptable Team Player
  • Strong Understanding of Sourcing Methodologies, Recruitment Strategies and Key Metrics
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation Skills
  • Organized, with the Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks and Set Priorities in a Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Internet Application and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience Working in a Manufacturing Setting is an Asset
