We are currently recruiting for a
Site
Instrumentation Technician to join our team on the
Magino project in
Northern Ontario.
About the
role:
- Mineral processing plant, including: crushers, conveyors, mills, reagent mixing/dosing, propane fired solution heater and carbon regeneration kiln, induction furnace, control valves.
- Setup and calibration of instruments (digital and analogue types) and control valves.
- Field testing of the devices.
- Timely completion of check sheets.
- Report progress, opportunities and problems to your team leader.
About You:
- Selfstarter with "cando" mind set.
- Preferred 10 years of handson experience in commissioning of mining projects of medium size. Seven year minimum industry experience.
- Experience with network communication.
- Have experience in calibration, precommissioning and commissioning of conventional industrial instrumentation (digital and analogue).
- Have demonstrable experience in test equipment for mA instrumentation, such as digital multimeter, instrumentation signal simulators, level and temperature.
