As a Sustainability-focused Server and Pizza Maker at The Mash, you'll be an integral part of our mission to provide guests with memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Serving:

• Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Present the menu, make recommendations, and take customer orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries and special requests with attention to detail.

2.


Pizza Making:

• Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients to create unique, highquality pizzas.
• Operate pizza ovens, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pizza preparation area.
• Consistently follow our recipes and procedures to deliver delicious, sustainable pizzas.

Sustainability Focus:

• Educate customers about The Mash's sustainability initiatives and our use of spent grain in pizza crusts.
• Assist in waste reduction and recycling efforts within the restaurant.
• Support sustainability practices, such as energy conservation and resource management.

Customer Experience:

• Create a friendly and engaging atmosphere for guests.
• Ensure excellent service, answer questions, and address concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Promote The Mash's commitment to sustainability and the unique dining experience we offer.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with colleagues in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by taking on various responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
• A passion for sustainability and a desire to promote ecofriendly practices.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of patrons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to The Mash's unique menu and sustainability practices.
