LICENSED MECHANIC

Main duties and responsibilities:

Demonstrate competence in the diagnosis and repair of the diesel engine ;
Powertrain including differential and transmission (manual and automatic) ;
Perform programming, updating and calibration of computers in a truck ;
Refrigeration systems ;
Fan clutch ;
Cooling system ;
Brake system, including ABS ;
Suspension (spring and pneumatic) ;
Identify warranty repairs and register them on the work order ;
Work alone or with another mechanic ;
Annual inspection certificate ;
Safety standards certificate.


Qualifications
Secondary study diploma ;
Conscientious for safety ;
Good computer skills ;
Reliable, shift towards teamwork and solid skills for customer service ;
Must lift and/or regularly move loads up to 12kg, lift and/or frequently move loads of up to 23kg and up and/or occasionally move loads of up to 45kg ;
Valid driver's license and a good driving record ;
Being organized and orderly ;
Have good interpersonal skills ;
Have initiative and discipline ;
Provincial or interprovincial mechanic license ;
Red Seal Trades, an asset ;
Ozone Alert certificate, an asset ;
Drive Clean certificate, an asset.
