Main Duties
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines
- Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
- Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Maintain filing system
- Collecting information from clients and preparing documents for residential real estate conveyancing (sales, purchases, family transfers & mortgage transactions)
- Drafting wills and other personal planning documents (Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements)
- Assistance with other general notary services
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1+ years experience in Land Title Systems.
- Experience in ProSuite, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- 23 year work experience is an asset
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment
- Work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to communicate in English
- A passion for providing superior client service.
Benefits
- Salary: $45,000.00$60,000.00 per year depending on experience
- 40 hours/week
