Description

Main Duties

  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Maintain filing system
  • Collecting information from clients and preparing documents for residential real estate conveyancing (sales, purchases, family transfers & mortgage transactions)
  • Drafting wills and other personal planning documents (Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements)
  • Assistance with other general notary services
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information

Requirements:


  • College, CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1+ years experience in Land Title Systems.
  • Experience in ProSuite, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • 23 year work experience is an asset
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • A passion for providing superior client service.

Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000.00$60,000.00 per year depending on experience
  • 40 hours/week
