NGF Canada is entering an exciting phase in wanting to bring to market a new generation of added-value products to existing and new customers, going beyond the foundations of glass fibre cords reinforcing rubber belts.
Customer Service Officer
Key responsibilities:
The main purpose of the role is to undertake all aspects of customer service, international import and export administration, supporting key customer accounts, ensuring that customer requirements are met in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines / procedures, together with a full range of sales administration duties.
Liaison for customers, sales, and production management / appropriate personnel together with external agencies, to ensure high standards of service are maintained and delivery schedules met.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and appropriate personnel to ensure orders and delivery schedules meet customer requirements while organizing the shipment of products and samples.
- Ensure that all necessary accompanying import and export documentation is prepared and complete with adherence to legislative / Company procedures (ISO 9001 and ISO
- Timely enter, process, and review data within the Company MRP systems to ensure that data is updated (such as pricing, customer information, order information, etc.).
- Professionally represent the company and maintain service excellence while using customer history, trends and notes to following up with order requests or missing/irregular order schedules.
- Purchasing and distributing products and materials for onsite/external warehouse, while ensuring company stock levels are on target.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous knowledge/competence within a customer service and administration role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook and Excel).
- Knowledge and understanding of order processes, shipment of products globally, invoicing would be advantageous.
- Superior organizational skills, high level of concentration / attention to detail while handling highly sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Works collaboratively and builds trust to develop enduring working relationships with others.
- Actively seeks to understand and improve on internal & external customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs.
Working Time:
Regular Day Working: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday including 30-minute lunch break.
