Role Mission
Supporting clients in the EdTech space, as a History Content Intern, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing an education app utilized by over 60,000 students.
Working closely with both our Product and Development teams, you'll test our online learning platform, providing valuable feedback on historical content, and offering a student perspective to ensure a positive user experience.
Part-time and/or full-time positions are available, starting in February and ending in April/May, with the potential for an extension into the summer.
Deliverables:
- Conduct thorough testing of the online learning platform to identify and report any issues, bugs, or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the platform meets the highest standards of functionality and userfriendliness
- Review educational content, specifically focusing on historyrelated materials
- Provide constructive feedback on content accuracy, clarity, and overall effectiveness
- Act as a representative of the student community, offering insights and suggestions to enhance the overall user experience
- Provide feedback on the platform's accessibility, engagement, and relevance to students
- Actively participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, share insights, and address challenges
About you:
- Currently enrolled in university with a major in history, or possess a strong history background (AP history completion is a plus)
- A passion for world history or American history with a keen interest in educational technology
- Eager to play a role in content generation, including utilizing ChatGPT prompts
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey feedback and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Nice to have:
- A computer science and/or education background
- Experience with mobile app development or testing
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
