Qualifications

Postsecondary degree/diploma in a business, health sciences or other related field
Experience in overall supply chain functions required, including buying using formal tendering processes
Good communication, customer service and organizational skills required, with the ability to learn quickly, prioritize and multitask in a highpaced, productivity demanding environment
Experience with computerized systems for purchasing, inventory management, distribution and control required
Intermediate to advanced level of computer knowledge and experience required
Attention to detail, and strong keyboarding skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be physically capable of working in an office environment, on a computer, and at a desk, for the great majority of the day
Valid driver's license, adequate insurance and use of personal vehicle
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Completed courses through the Purchasing Managers Association of Canada (PMAC)
Completed courses through the Ontario Public Buyers Association (OPBA)
Experience working with Health Pro and/or Medbuy
Strong working knowledge and familiarity with medical supplies and medical equipment
Experience with ORMED Purchasing/Finance software

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
