    Job Details
  • The Surveillance & Supervision Fixed Capacity Pod (FCP) manages regulatory and compliance initiatives such as Communications Surveillance, Trade Surveillance, Records Management, Anti-Money Laundering, Case Management and Employee Conduct Risk. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the endtoend delivery of multiple workstreams while ensuring that all change adhere to the approved change governance standards.

Day-to-day activities may include:

  • Collaborate with project partners to align plans, timelines, expectations, and deliverables to meet project objectives.
  • Lead teams through adversity to execute with excellence.
  • Communicate critical information on project status to ensure project health.
  • Handle project financials and realization of benefits.
  • Responsible for adherence and enhancement to all delivery protocols and Agile approaches.
  • Ability to energize others and continuously implement new ideas and methods.

Job Requirements

  • Record of project delivery success, preferably in Capital Markets, in a large, complex organization.
  • Intermediate understanding of communications surveillance in a Capital Markets environment, including the communication channels used at the Dealer, vendor landscape, industry trends and challenges.
  • Intermediate understanding of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models and how they are used in the context of communications surveillance.
  • Experience with communications surveillance tools such as Theta Lake, Behavox, Digital Safe and Smarsh
  • Proven expertise leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence and by using Agile approaches to improve collaboration.
  • Proven record of collaborating effectively with risk and control partners to mitigate change risk
  • Understanding of the current compliance and regulatory landscape and their impact on the Dealer.
  • Familiarity with risk and operational concepts obtained through previous experience in a capital markets function.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to senior and executive audiences.
  • Superior interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation.


  • Superior organizational skills

  • Must be able to identify and track project dependencies & blockers, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, document meeting minutes and takeaways in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages, Tableau or UiPath would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and handle time effectively.
  • Ability to make business decisions based upon sound judgement.

Specific Education Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSP designation preferred
  • CFA or FRM designation an asset
