Job summary
We are seeking a Policy Officer in our Political, Press and Information Section under a fixed-term employment contract of two years with possible renewal.The successful candidate will provide support, expertise, and assistance in political cooperation areas such as gender equality human rights public diplomacy following main tasks including policy monitoring reporting advising stakeholders relations public diplomacy responsibility under supervision head section delegation headquarters EU Canada relation analyses reports dialogues coordination meetings planning participation preparation replies events information communication activities
- Advise Head Section Deputy Head Delegation Head Delegation timely advice recommendations Headquarters future development EU relations Canada.
- Observe monitor draft regular timely analyses reports Canadian domestic foreign policy orientations developments coordinate biweekly reports prepare policy reports designated areas responsibility request.
- Monitor report implementations various agreements bilateral instruments force between EU Canada Strategic Partnership Agreement SPA coordinate monitor organisation dialogues SPA liaison Headquarters Canadian authorities needed.
