Description
Responsibilities.
- Verify project performance metrics are established and tracked accurately.
- Review and understand complex commercial agreements and assist with ensuring contract adherence.
- Attend and participate in Project and Stakeholder meetings.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes as when required.
- Project planning and scheduling, including coordinating schedules, and update review as needed.
- Management of change, adherence to A&B process as well as client contractual terms.
- Responsible for procurement and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
- Proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Analyze data, review logs, and run cost or schedule reports as needed.
- Perform Ad hoc tasks as required.
- Ability to work independently and make prompt decisions.
Requirements:
Job Requirements
- Required 3 to 5 years experience in Project Controls and/or Project Management.
- Must have 2 to 3 years of Oilfield experience.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a relevant field of work is an asset.
- PMP, CAPM and/or CET certification is an asset.
- Experience managing project controls and related activities.
- Able to develop and manage complex spreadsheets, project schedules and summary Reports.
- Aptitude for planning, analysis, and problem solving.
- Experience in estimating oil & gas and/or pipeline construction projects is a great asset.
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Strong attention to detail and great work ethics.
- Intermediate user of scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera.
Work Conditions.
- This position is primarily based out of our office in Regina, Saskatchewan.
- Project site visits will be required periodically, with locations varying throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. LOA will be provided when onsite. It is estimated that this role will be 90% office based and 10% site based.
- Nonsite work is Monday-Friday 8 hours per day
- Overtime as required.
