    As we continue to grow, we are looking for individuals to join our growing and highly successful, local team of specialists working on a variety of projects in Alberta and northern BC, while also collaborating with other teams in our western and northern offices.

    • Corporate commitment to long-term career and personal development through opportunities and support for professional advancement (e.g., This is a permanent full-time opportunity for the position of Biologist or Agrologist in our Grande Prairie office. Conduct/lead field surveys including aquatic or terrestrial components of baseline inventories, effects assessments and/or environmental monitoring
    • Conduct/assist with data entry, analysis and technical reporting including permit applications, environmental assessments, environmental management plans
    • Communicate with existing and potential clients leveraging your technical knowledge as opportunities arise in collaboration with the EDI team
    • Developing project scope of work and associated cost estimates
    • Knowledge of regulatory processes/applications and industry/market sector requirements
    • The capacity to work in a dynamic environment with senior support
    • A desire to mentor junior staff
    • The ability to conduct fieldwork in remote locations and/or travel between offices
    • The aptitude to work collaboratively and effectively with junior, intermediate and senior staff of different disciplines, within teams on various projects of differing complexity, and with First Nations, sub-consultants and government agencies
    Demonstrated experience leading a field crew for aquatic or terrestrial components of baseline inventory, effects assessment and/or monitoring surveys, subsequent data analysis and reporting


    • Previous environmental consulting experience that demonstrates understanding of key provincial and federal legislation regulating industrial projects
    • A Bachelor's Degree or a Diploma in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience or a comparable combination of education and experience
    • recognized in Alberta and/or BC
    • Class 5 driver's license
