North Vancouver Nissan is currently looking to fill a position of a
Parts
Shipper and Receiver.

Essential Duties:


  • Provide customers with an unmatched ownership experience at all times
  • Verify quantities received in shipments, notify supervisor of any damage or discrepancies and take appropriate action
  • Ensure parts are quickly received and expedited to appropriate Parts Advisor
  • Label parts with proper parts number prior to binning and place in storage
  • Monitor part number changes and modify location if necessary
  • Identify and process special order shipments and notify appropriate person or department
  • Provide information to customers on our product and promote parts sales
  • Perform customer followup on special order parts
  • Maintain supply of wet and charged batteries, boutique and accessories display
  • Assist internal and external customers at the counter and via telephone
  • Assist with housekeeping of parts department, stockroom maintenance and replenishment of stock parts
  • Act as a backup for Parts Advisors
  • Other duties as required by your manager

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Parts technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of parts inventory operations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Perform duties with a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional attention to detail
