At AltaLink we power Alberta by delivering electricity to millions of Albertans 24 hours a day seven days a week When you re on our team you re supporting Alberta s homes farms businesses and industries by providing the safe reliable and affordable electricity they rely on Whether working in the field or in the office every AltaLinker contributes to keeping the lights on We are hiring for a Project Governance Lead who will coordinate delivery teams project managers and other key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to cost management The position works closely with project managers functional teams and management to ensure governance regulatory deadlines are met continuous improvement tasks support department s overall goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders develop scope-of-work proposals and project estimates create presentation materials that align CRU Governance process document outcome of Governance Stage Gates prepare detailed summary reports assess project portfolio spending identify primary factors driving variances approved budget GTA forecast prepare comprehensive reports summarize these variances assist Project Teams development submission required regulatory reports develop responses Regulator intervener information requests interface Project Controls Managers Delivery Teams ensure governance alignment cost estimates forecasts communicate provide training project delivery teams CRU governance process changes requirements prepare responses internal audit recommendations periodic updates status implementation undertake internal reviews verify compliance delivery governance procedures processes assist submission financial regulatory required reports plans ongoing financial regulatory compliance identify initiate lead improvement initiatives strengthen governance controls delivering complex solutions meaningful measurable business impact carry duties direction Manager Project Support - CRU demonstrate behaviors meet expectations cultural pillars one team continuous improvement customer focus personal accountability.
