What We're Looking ForOur Real Estate Division is seeking a client-focused individual for our Underwriting Administrator position. This individual will support a group of highly skilled Underwriters in a fast-paced and growing team.
Located in our Burnaby head office we are centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park a shuttle ride away from The Amazing Brentwood.
The Requirements
Level 1 General Insurance License or willing to obtain within 6 months
2+ years of administrative experience
Intermediate to advanced MS Office experience, with strong focus on Excel
Analytical with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Industry experience is an asset
Outstanding customer service skills
Enjoy working in a fast paced, client-focused environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A Day in the Life
Gather and organize the information provided by insurance companies
Update monthly renewal spreadsheets with rates and deductibles.
Assist the team in completing daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks as required in support of marketing and underwriting efforts.
Monitor Marketing inbox with requests from Insurers.
Work with the team to create automation and efficiencies in operational processes
Collate, analyze, manipulate and Interpret data
Preparing scheduled and ad-hoc reports
