About The Role

The Enterprise Procurement Analyst and Contract Specialist is a SME specializing in supplier contracts, the contract management software as well as all procurement systems and KPIs generated.

Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Enterprise Procurement the position acts as the coordinator of all aspects related to enterprise wide supplier contracts.

This includes "first pass" contract review, ensuring that all of the required "meta-data" is noted in the contract management system.

The role also proactively monitors expiring contracts to ensure all contracts are considered and reviewed within the parameters established by Altasciences.

As the Enterprise Procurement Analyst the role will be an expert in all procurement related systems (ERP, Savings software, established reports etc).

The role shall develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators under the supervision of the senior director of Enterprise Procurement which will allow the department to optimize, identify and improve all aspects related to procurement i.e.

pricing, vendor management, processes etc.

The role may also act as a buyer for specified commodity or service profiles as well as act as a back up to help support enterprise wide cross training.

Any other tasks assigned by the Senior Director of Enterprise Procurement or the Procurement Manager should be considered as part of the responsibilities.

Act as a procurement implementation resource
Communication point for status reports for assigned initiatives
Communinate with Procurement team, OPS managers, General Managers and external vendors
Possible travel when needed

What You'll Need to Succeed

Diploma of Collegial studies related field, or related experience
Understanding of corporate contract structure and language
High level aptitude in informational systems
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office package
Strong analytical aptitude
High level of organizational ability
Team player in a team oriented dynamic environment
