As NAIT continues to grow its student body and lead the way in hands-on learning, we are recruiting energetic individuals with a passion for post-secondary education to become part of Canada's leading polytechnic.

The School of Health and Life Sciences is looking for self-motivated individual with a great attitude to provide administrative support for the school's leadership and faculty.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare office correspondence and data reports using Microsoft Office Suite, electronic mail system, and/or to program specific software
  • Purchase supplies using PeopleSoft Finance system
  • Assist program and department in coordinating and completing projects
  • Attend and record minutes for various committee meetings
  • Manage and maintain records management system (electronic and paper)
  • Create, review and revise program materials
  • Support student selection and enrolment management strategies using Campus Solutions
  • Assist with annual tasks for compliance requirements for program accreditation
  • Plan and organize school, department and program specific events
  • Maintain office equipment (printers and photocopier)
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:


  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft would be an asset

Qualifications:


  • Completion of Grade twelve
  • Related (Business or Office Administration) postsecondary certificate or diploma
  • 23 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalencies may be considered

Remuneration:
$1, $2,165.24 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support IV).

  • This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
