We are looking to hire an
Accounting Officer to support our financial planning practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts, ensuring alignment with provincial and federal tax laws and compliance
- Maintain accurate records through diligent bookkeeping, clerical work, and data entry
- Oversee a company's financial data, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations
- Issue payment cheques for company expenses and the President's personal payments by validating invoices and expenses
- Reconcile statements and maintain organized accounting books
- Prepare and file required supporting documentation for each accounting transaction in collaboration with external accountants
- Collaborate with external accountants for annual tax filings
- Track and manage financial data, entering transactions into databases, promptly notifying upper management of any errors, and organizing financial reports
- Generate commission reports and issue commission cheques on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with external accountants to process biweekly payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of wages and deductions
- Handle group RRSP contributions
- Perform adhoc duties as required
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- At least 35 years bookkeeping and accounting experiences
- Previous experiences to communicate with external accountants on company's book
- Familiar with IFRS Accounting rules
- Familiar with Canada tax rule will have advantages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Cantonese required
- Attentive to detail and well organized
- Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Capable to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$53,000-$58,000 per year
Attractive Compensation and Benefits package depends on experiences
