The Opportunity:


A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Manage patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal clinic operation
  • Handle insurance claims and billing processes
  • Oversee inventory management for supplies and equipment
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising administrative staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery
  • Implement and enforce office policies and procedures

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • 35 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical setting
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures (ophthalmology experience considered an asset)
