Reporting to the InfoSec Compliance and Governance Officer, the incumbent's mandate is directly linked to documenting, communicating, monitoring, and reporting on compliance related controls.

This position will assist in the development, communication, implementation, and management of new risk-based programs to identify non-compliant issues linked to InfoSec and governance controls.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the documentation and communication of regularly scheduled validation of common controls
  • Assist in the planning, development, monitoring, reporting, and institutionalization of new riskbased compliance programs (annual audit programs vs. periodic programs)
  • Implement new program(s); create and institutionalize standard templates to record audit findings and document procedure manual
  • Liaise directly with stakeholders, where necessary, to expedite the review function
  • Communicate pertinent, documented, and timely updates to concerned parties regarding changes in controls, procedures, or requirements
  • Collaborate on special projects

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Experience or general knowledge in compliance or governance (ITIL, COBIT, SOC 2, CSR)
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate with various types of stakeholders a must (Clevel, Sales, HR, IT)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Selfstarter with ability to administer and followup on multiple files and projects and ensure decisions are made promptly to minimize inefficiencies
  • Experience in troubleshooting, solving problems, taking initiative and prioritizing workload
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Serviceoriented with the ability to communicate well with other units
  • Audit experience is an asset.
  • English, French, spoken and written

Minimum Education and Experience:


  • CEGEP DEC + 3 Years Experience in IT Operations or related field.
