Overview:
Essential Job Functions
- Assist potential customers by answering product and service questions as well as suggesting information about other products and services in accordance with the customer's needs.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem and following up to ensure resolution.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and tactfully. Escalate complaints as required by company policy if a resolution cannot be made personally.
- Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of product/services. Provide recommendations to customers based on needs and wants.
- Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Provide information to customers about account and payment information.
- Meet the needs of customers' unique requests to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Some soft collections calls will be required.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service.
- Thorough knowledge of the product and/or service.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
