We've been making countertops and innovating since 1979.

After fabricating and installing 100,000 countertops in Ontario, we have grown into one of the largest residential suppliers of custom countertops and designer surfaces in Ontario, offering expert manufacturing and installation of Natural Stone, Quartz, Ultra-compact and Acrylic solid surfacing.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Pre-Production Coordinator liaises with our templating team to make project drawing revisions and address project design issues that may arise.

This role has a strong focus on the customer experience (i.e. Kitchen & Bath Dealers) and ensures all customer requests and questions related to project design are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with our customers and templating team members (i.e. internal and subcontractors)
  • Manage all followup regarding CAD layout/drawing changes and design issues
  • Liaise with production, service and templating leads
  • Make revisions to project drawings using AutoCAD
  • Requote projects when necessary as a result of project revisions/addons
  • Ensure customer approvals are received (i.e. confirmation signoffs) for all project drawing revisions and requotes
  • Upload documents to ERP (INFOtrac) and update system accordingly
  • Work with CAD team to ensure all project design specifications are updated correctly for the production process
  • Review and finalize AutoCAD drawings for productions for jobs that require followup with dealers
  • Liaise with management to determine how to proceed when problems/issues arise

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience using AutoCAD
  • College Diploma or University Degree in engineering, planning, interior design, drafting or related field
  • Experience in the Kitchen & Bath industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Enjoys working independently and with a team
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment with high volume of orders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with project coordination or management an asset
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience working with ERPs an asset

Job Types:

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
