Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Accurately filling medications
- Run automated strip packaging and blister pack machines
- Rolling, separating and manipulating strip packaging
- Reconciling and packaging medication for delivery
- Accurate order entry of prescriptions into our Kroll system
- Ensuring accurate documentation of completed work
- Communicating with customers and nurses on the phone
- Filling prescriptions and operating Automation machines that
- Keeping a safe, comfortable and clean work environment
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
Experience:
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program
- Kroll experience an asset
- Working knowledge of pharmacy calculations
- Visual acuity, detail oriented, manual dexterity appropriate for handling strip packs, prescription bottles and labels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
