Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Research Data Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the development of guidance documentation, standard operating procedures for relevant workflows e.g., accompany opensource software code for reproducibility.
Facilitate and contribute to the development of training content to support managing controlled access data using pilot tools and services.
Provide technical support to technical teams and users, as required.
Facilitate and/or attend meetings as a representative of the program and to move the project forward.
Collaborate with initiative team and with external collaborators to develop and/or implement processes and solutions to meet their data service needs.
Engage with partners/collaborators to discuss and clarify data requirements.
Support the program¿s operational needs.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Statistics/Biostatistics and/or related discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience and computer programming/coding experience in a relevant software/programming/scripting language.
Prior experience with data repository activities.
Knowledge of data curation and/or metadata will be an asset.
Experience working with software developers and developing documentation to accompany source code to facilitate adoption by others.
Demonstrated experience in project management.
Knowledge of best practices, standards, techniques for data security and/or cybersecurity in research.
Experience and knowledge of research data management and/or data management plans.
Experience working with and/or with requirements for managing restricted access data preferred.
Bilingualism in English and French preferred.
