Corporate Vendor Management is accountable for delivering centralized support, in collaboration with multiple functions (i.e. Enterprise Talent Strategies, Enterprise Learning & Development, Global Compensation, Retirement & Benefit Plans, etc) and various delivery partners (i.e. Enterprise Technology Solutions, Strategic Sourcing, Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy).


Job Description:


Reporting to the Manager, Vendor Management, the successful incumbent will provide analytical support to our Vendor Management team in partnership with our partners.

The team's vision is to operate with excellence and be a strategic and collaborative partner by identifying opportunities that sustain value and managing the risk and governance of our vendor portfolios.


The Vendor Analyst II will be responsible for:

  • Provide a variety of analytical reporting, measurement and project support to our team of Vendor Managers and Senior Manager
  • Management of the overall vendor invoicing processes on behalf of Retirement & Benefits, working with Finance on various audit reporting requirements and service levels
  • Responsible for review and processing of various Pension Management Fee Invoices (TDAM, Epoch, Sun Life, etc.); working with Treasury Balance Sheet Management (TBSM), Finance, Total Rewards, and our third party trustee
  • Collect, review and partner with our LOBs on yearly risk and governance evaluations supplied from our vendors (ie SOC I/II)
  • Organize and lead analysis and reporting on a Third Party's performance through the delivery of services against SLAs, SLOs, KPIs or other contractual commitments as required
  • Act as a key resource to the business segment or corporate functional by providing relevant and meaningful information/data/guidance on procedures and/or issues
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for our team processes
  • Provide Ad hoc reporting as required

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of Vendor Management principles/practices/activities, policies and procedures
  • Proficient/advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
  • Must be highly motivated selfstarter and have the ability to work independently with various levels of individuals within and across functions
  • Proven ability to build and foster strong partner relationships that add value to processes and contribute to team success.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to coordinate effectively at all hierarchy levels with strong organizational awareness
  • Familiarity with databases, Coupa and Ariba (TD Smart Source)
  • Strong time management, detailed oriented, diligent, and committed to achieving results
  • Undergraduate degree with over 2 years relevant experience
