"farm-gate" store located at our production facilities in St. Thomas, Ontario.

We are looking for a full-time Machine Operator to add to our growing cannabis production company located in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator will be responsible for various aspects of cannabis production machine operations.

These activities including daily maintenance, troubleshooting, ensuring the machines are efficiently operating at all times to meet production demands and produce high quality cannabis products at all times.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Operating production machines efficiently to meet production demands and produce high quality cannabis products
  • Examine materials, or products to ensure conformance to established standards
  • Cleaning equipment and work area between lots and setting up equipment for batches
  • Ensure all product materials needed for cannabis products are on the floor for daily production runs
  • Strictly adhering to and observing all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
  • Performing general housekeeping of the production area which includes keeping all materials off the floor, returning equipment & materials to proper storage area after each lot
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Working closely with the Production Manager to anticipate, resolve and meet production demands in real time
  • Update all logbooks (production and safety)
  • Other duties as assigned by General Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience with operating equipment, troubleshooting and operation in CPG or food manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and be able to multitask production duties
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Mechanically inclined with a mathematical and technical aptitude
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
