Classic 8 Cleaning & Maintenance works closely with our Property Management clients to provide a full range of building maintenance services.

Hiring a Part Time (weekend only) contract Heavy Duty and Light duty Cleaner for our Condominiums in Grimsby, ON.

Position:
Heavy and Light Duty Cleaner

Shift:
Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 11:00am


Location:
Grimsby, ON

Heavy Duty Cleaner / Housekeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains and cleans compactor room
Assists in the moving of garbage bins when needed
Cleans and services restrooms with light duty housekeeping duties.
Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways
Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment
Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds
Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, door, frames, railings, picture frames and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items

Cleans and stores equipment and machinery used i.e. power washer

Cleaner / Housekeeper Knowledge, Skills and Proficiency:
Prior cleaning experience in condominium is an asset
Have knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, solutions and equipment of the janitorial service
Have knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules


Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$18.75-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• GRIMSBY, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- heavy and light duty cleaning: 1 year (required)
