Fire Alarm Technician - Edmonton, Canada - Total Integration Inc

Description

We are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician. Work includes programming, Fire Alarm verifications, inspections, service and deficiency repairs. We are offering a fantastic work place, competitive wages, Notifier (Honeywell) training and opportunity for development.


Responsibilities:

• Programming of Fire Alarm Notifier Panels
• Perform annual fire alarm inspections as per CAN/ULC-S53
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems.
• Complete reports precisely and in a timely manner.
• Install fire alarm panels and devices
• Perform manufacturer Fire Alarm verifications per CAN/ULC-S53
• On Call for emergency calls during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

• Experience in the fire alarm industry.
• CFAA registered and/or Journeyman electrical ticket.
• Experience in performing fire alarm inspections and completing fire alarm reports.
• Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs and climb ladders.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Experience with Fire Alarm Programming - Notifier preferred

• Valid Fall arrest ticket
• Experience with XAAP
• Confident and responsible
• Strong trouble shooting skills
• Attention to detail
• Positive and professional customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract

Salary:
$30.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience:

- alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
