Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team.

As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, performing tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities:

Assist team members with the completion of excavating, backfilling, formwork, concrete placement and finishing and different aspects of construction (framing, drywall etc)
Participating in landscaping tasks, including planting and sodding
Ensuring the job site is maintained and organized by sweeping, disposing of waste, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Preparation of construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
Direct traffic where necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
Operating basic construction machinery and tools, such as drills, saws, and power tools.
Operating heavy machinery such as skidsteers and track loaders
Willing to take on various tasks as needed to support the overall project

Experience:

Previous experience in construction or a related field is highly preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and own transportation is required
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Familiarity with equipment such as skidsteers
Ability to read and interpret construction plans is beneficial
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

$20.00-$25.00 per hour
