We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team.
As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, performing tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team members with the completion of excavating, backfilling, formwork, concrete placement and finishing and different aspects of construction (framing, drywall etc)
- Participating in landscaping tasks, including planting and sodding
- Ensuring the job site is maintained and organized by sweeping, disposing of waste, and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Preparation of construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Direct traffic where necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
- Operating basic construction machinery and tools, such as drills, saws, and power tools.
- Operating heavy machinery such as skidsteers and track loaders
- Willing to take on various tasks as needed to support the overall project
Experience:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is highly preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and own transportation is required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Familiarity with equipment such as skidsteers
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is beneficial
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

$20.00-$25.00 per hour
