Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team.

As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, performing tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist team members with the completion of excavating, backfilling, formwork, concrete placement and finishing and different aspects of construction (framing, drywall etc)
  • Participating in landscaping tasks, including planting and sodding
  • Ensuring the job site is maintained and organized by sweeping, disposing of waste, and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Preparation of construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  • Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
  • Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
  • Direct traffic where necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
  • Operating basic construction machinery and tools, such as drills, saws, and power tools.
  • Operating heavy machinery such as skidsteers and track loaders
  • Willing to take on various tasks as needed to support the overall project

Experience:


  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is highly preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation is required
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with equipment such as skidsteers
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans is beneficial
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

$20.00-$25.00 per hour
