We provide same day & 2 days transit logistic services to Northeast states like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Maine, Vermont & Connecticut out of GTA.
Our brand-new fleet of truck & trailers insures we will meet your logistics needs without any compromises and failures.All our assets are equipped with Satellite tracking and our team always keep an eye on your freight until it reaches its desired destination.
All our trucks are equipped with ELD's & Dashcams. It has always been our goal to provide prompt, reliable & cost-efficient services to our customers. Our yard is fully secured with security gate, cameras and access cards.Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Perform AP function which includes 3way matching, invoice coding, invoice entry and generating payment schedule.
- Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the cheques with backups for review by the Director of Finance
- Communicate with vendors seeking payment, to manage expectations, and to follow up on credits and discrepancies.
- Monitor AP aging and keep accounts for current, ensuring vendors are paid within credit terms, and to take advantage of early payment discounts when appropriate.
- Set up new AP vendors and maintain AP vendor database.
- Assist in streamlining the AP process by identifying areas for performance improvements.
Accounts Receivable:
- Monitor AR aging report and send statement of accounts to customers.
- Generate invoices within fleet.
- Attaching correct PODs with invoices and send to the customer for billing purposes.
- Answer any questions or requests from customers.
- Follow up with customer on overdue balances and escalate to Director of Finance
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in accounting, finance and or business administration
- Minimum 6 months 1 year experience in transportation industry (similar role)
- Must have experience in fullcycle AP process.
- Highly proficient in Quick books
- High proficiency in Microsoft office

Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

- Mandarin (preferred)
